You Will Never Be Sorry #5

I hope you are enjoying Uncle Ben's challenging  thoughts. The next is:

You Will Never Be Sorry

For helping a fallen brother,

The first thought that comes to mind is the "Golden Rule." We should all seek to "do unto others as we would have them do unto us." The person who looks only to his or her own interests is a lonely people indeed. The more we help others, the more we are rewarded. A quote from the Great Book says,

9 Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. 10 For if they fall , the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when hefalleth ; for he hath not another to help him up . 11 Again, if two lie together , then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? 12 And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken .  (Eccles. 4)

Our week is coming to a swift close & the summer heat is all around us. Be cool & take time to watch & listen to the birds.
